Pentling Area

The adjoining district capital of the Upper Palatinate Regensburg (Ratisbon) with its picturesque medieval centre can be reached quickly and conveniently.

Only a few of its famous sights are, for example, the cathedral of St. Peter, home of the world-famous church choir “Domspatzen“, the Thurn and Taxis Castle, and last but not least the Old Stone Bridge.

By way of ship you may also visit the Walhalla monument near the town of Donaustauf, the Liberation Hall in Kelheim and the monastery of Weltenburg on the edge of the Danube gorge.

Also near-by is Bad Abbach, offering additional facilities of relaxation with its sulphur springs and the Emperor’s Thermal Spring.
